Chiropractic is founded on the premise that the body has the innate ability to adapt to its environment, regulate and heal itself.
Interference to the nervous system caused by spinal subluxation can negatively this adaptability, leading to dis-function and dis-ease in the body. Without proper adaptability the body can no longer normally regulate or heal.
However, when spinal subluxations are corrected through chiropractic care, normal adaptability is restored, allowing for normal function and ease.
In our office we use the Insight Scanner to figure out exactly where the subluxation is and how it is affecting your body's ability to adapt to life's stress. We measure thermography (temperature), electromyography (energy efficiency), and heart rate variability (stress response) to assess the function of the nervous system. Then we base our care off of these functional findings and re-assess periodically to make sure we are getting the best results.
